As of now, Bumblebee and the Silver coupe

 

Scott, which car will be at the Rev It Up! event in D.C. that same weekend. Hate to make a trip just to check it out, only to find that they were in MI. Thanks.

 

The orange convertible was in Orlando this past weekend at the Chevy Rev It Up event. Got to see under the hood this time. Nice.

 

does anybody know where the bumble bees are going to appear or the other concepts for that matter. Does anybody know if they are going to appear at Bristol TN or anywhere close to SoutWest VA?

 

The only thing that I am aware of that something is supposed to be at is the Rev It Up! event in DC at Fedex Field........I haven't gotten any confirmation from multiple sources which is really gonna tick me off when I drive from Smithfield, NC to DC and find out that nothing is there and they are all in MI.

 

Why not send a correspondent there?

If I had a staff to pick from, I would do that......but this is just for my personal viewing pleasure......would have love to gone to MI, but it just wasn't in the cards right now.......

FYI, learned late today that the red pusher is going to be in DC tomorrow and Sat if anyone is planning on going.......sounds like all the drivers have been called "home" for the big 40th birthday bash....I still wonder if there's going to be some new official news out of this weekend or not.

 

I was really hoping the vert or the silver couple at least would be in DC. I guess we'll have to wait till January to see the convertible in DC now.

Here's something I don't understand. Why doesn't GM throw on a set of the concept's wheels and brakes on Bumblebee and ditch the wheel covers and fake rotors without calipers? I know they are trying to keep it true to the movie as it is the actual car, but help it out a bit.

 

I think they might not fit. The Bumblebee was based on a GTO.

 

Great to here the red one is going to be in DC ive been wanting to see it. I was in Orlando last week but was told the vert wasnt there only to find out afterwards it was

Im just going up to check out the car, ive been wanting to see it in person so im going to make the drive up early tomorrow morning....so its for sure the red ones going to be there?!?

 

Same here.......I was told by Dan Passe, with the marketing people doing the RevItUp events that he saw the red car there yesterday. Wish it wasn't just a pusher, but, I'm mainly interested in seeing the body in person anyway to get a better feel and appreciation of the car.

 

Bumblebee is coming south........finally!! Just received a flyer for the Charlotte, NC Autofair event at Lowe's Motor Speedway September 13-16th stating that the Bumblebee car will be there.
