As production of the Camaro convertible begins to ramp up at Oshawa, it is necessary to wind down production of the Synergy Green exterior color (RPO: GHS) and the Synergy Green interior trim pieces. The last time these uniquely colored options will be available to order is the Dealer Order Submission Cycle scheduled to start Thursday, March 10, 2011, and ends on Tuesday, March 15, 2011.

 

Why are they killing the color? I thought it basically became a standard production color. Thats a shame, I really like the color.

 

5 days? WTF? or is that just for dealer allocation, not for customer orders?

i can accept my one of my fav colors ot be stopped to help sales. i will take that sacrifice. but i am confused they decided to limit production for it, must be the low guy ont he pole like aqua blue.

Does this mean a customer can still custom order a Synergy Green Camaro from their dealer? Wow, I thought it was no longer available for order. Please clarify. Thank you.

You can order until the last cycle dates listed above....IF your dealer HAS allocation, and many will not because of the reduced coupe production, you may get it built....Thats why I stocked up on SS's in Synergy green.

I am not surprised it is being discontinued. It is one of those colors that is over-the-top. That is not a bad thing, but it is not going to appeal to most buyers so it doesn't make sense for GM to continue to offer it.

Sad to see a great color go. Hope it makes room for more in the future.

 

I loved the color, but kinda like that this will keep it more "rare". Its like some of the colors that you rarely saw on 4th gens that make them more special.

edit: That challenger looks GORGEOUS!!

It never hit convertibles....although there was a demand!

It is actually one of the better selling colors! That's why Doddge picked it up. I had 4, one sold Tuesday, and I have one in the works right now....Dealers are begging me to trade it to them (sorry they can't have it)....

The other thing is, a dealer has to have allocation this week or next week to order one before the cut off....a difficult feat seeing that coupe production is cut down about 50% from January, for convertible production.
