I think you guys are seeing things. Yes they appear to be LEDs, however the shape is similar to the current lenses.

Look at the side mirrors.
Does anyone else think they look different? As if they are blocky-er ot trucky-er looking?
IDK. Maybe it's just me.

I thought the same thing. Maybe it was in response to all the complaints on poor rearward visibility.

Darn you Doug! I couldn't be sure with my tired eyes and small monitor.

They look a tad "Mustangy" to me.

Scotty IS speculating that this is a Euro spec Camaro.
Maybe they get some different bits than the U.S. version.

And keeping with the theme of steamlining worldwide, I seriously doubt GM is gonna design a special bumper and taillights just for the up coming export to the UK . In todays day and age one would think ayways, they are gonna use the MCE to make the car visually compliant in the US and UK without having to use special body parts for another region . I could be wrong though Guess well see in LA when the 2012 vert is supposed to debut .

actually some cars that go over seas need different bumpers and ligting to pass their standards. whether or not this is made for their standards...i dont know. but i do know, just like us, they have certain things they require that we dont have.

I do realize that . Appearence wise the only thing the camaro lacks is the amber rear signal and side signal idicators . The 10-11 bumpers are legal already .

i remember seeing some 4th gens that went to europe and they had to have reflector lenses put on the lower end of the bumper to pass.

Actually looking at the enlarged photo Doug posted again, the outer part of the lens does appear to have an orange if not amber hue to it.

The first thing I thought of when I saw those taillights in the video was this....

I don't know if this is a Euro model or not, I don't see side marker lights which are required. But those mirrors do look like break away mirrors which are required in Europe.
