Potential corrosion problem?

I was looking at some pics of the Camaro and noticed something that I hadn't noticed before. I was looking at a pic of the trunk with the rear spoiler attached. It dawned on me that if they don't have drain holes in the spoiler, a small pond would form on the trunk after a rainfall. Anyone else notice this?

4th gen Firebirds/Formulas had this feature, it didn't seem to be a problem. Then again, I can't remember what their hatch was made of, probably plastic. I know the spoiler itself was.

Drive faster....water should come right off. That, or if the trunk was slightly sloped in a v shape, moving teh water to the edge of the spoiler.

Happens on my mom's Grand Prix. Is there a gap on the front where the spoiler connects to the trunk lid? I haven't looked. Otherwise it might be an issue, but only if you get it wet and let it sit in a dark damp place where it can't evaporate.
