I'm sure they plan on a "check console gages" light or something for when one of those things reach red zone.

Guages are stupid anyway. They should just have a light on the dashboard for when something is wrong and call it a day.

Still wondering what they'll have in place of the tranny temp on stick cars (assuming that there will be something different on a stick car, because a tranny temp gauge on a manual tranny is as useless as the torque gauge was).

Not true Bob. You drag racers need to remember that not all racing is done ~12 seconds at a time.

Such a gauge can be just as useful in a manual trans car.
