Personally, I think the V6 front fascia looks better. The lower grill and spoiler especially, look leaner, more elegant, less bulky.

 

from the photos, i agree that the v6 looks sleeker. i would still like to see them side by side .. i might then prefer the more aggressive look

 

Well, okay, some of you (those who went to Indy) have probably seen both in person. I've only seen the V6 in person, so I am withholding judgement.

Based on pictures, I like the SS better.

 

I like the mail slot (yes i know its non functional)...

It gives me an engineering challenge to make it functional...

That and I like the wide agressive look.

 

Any chance that the RS/SS will have the RS(v6) fascia instead of the SS?

 

It's a toss-up. The V6 fascia is sleeker and cleaner. The SS fascia is more aggressive. Each have their merits.

 

I like the V6 over the SS. I like the SS' deeper and wider lower grille, but it has these weird bumps outside of and just above the fog-lights.


I noticed them on the Nissan GT-R also. Even the Ferrari California sorta has a similar shape to the outside of the nose.


I like the V6's smoother face Maybe with an add-on adjustable chin spoiler to match the "Razor" spoiler.

Not unless you swap it out yourself. And there's nothing RS-specific about any fascia... people really need to stop using "RS" to refer to V6 cars.

 

you know origionally i liked the v6 front end better. then the ss front end started growing on me. but i really liekd the version that we saw of the v6 with the mail slot in it. i thin the v6 version is more like the concept than the v8 is. that was the look i liked. but i think if they did the v6 bumber on the v8 it would need to be a little lower on the bottom. but i like the bottom opening on the v6.

 

thats a bad picture to show the differences. the main difference is the lower opening and the mail slot.

 

i think the pic is good. also the diff is the lip spoiler intergraded in.

 

i'd like to know the story behind those pictures... who got to take 5th gen front bumpers home?!?!

 

I like the SS without the mail slot!!

 

i think they were from the show at indy. they had an auction and sold some parts from the ivers and different models.
