I don't know if this is the place for this. But anyway, I know this is three years away or so...I'm sad to discover convertible Camaro lovers have to wait till 2011 now. But I've been curious about something. All of my previous Camaros' have been anniversary editions. What plans are floating around for the 45th anniversary edition of the 5th gen? Or is it a 40th? Or any for that matter.

 

Don't you have to stay married the whole time to consider it an anniversary?

 

I was thinking the same, but then again there was no 1983 model Corvette (that was available to the general public)

 

I pissed off a girlfriend with this line. We had broken up for about six months, and when what would have been our three year anniversary came around, I pulled that one out, and she got s**ttin'.

 

It wouldn't stop GM. The 2004 GTO had a pulse red edition that was supposed to a 40th anniversary as well . GM put the breaks on anniversary part at some point. I recall reading on one of the boards that certain parts were stamped with 40th anniversary even though the pulse red cars don't officially hold that designation...

You forgot the 30th anniversary edition.

 

There was also a 20th. I own one. 1987 IROC convertible.

 

So what you're saying DAKMOR is you don't think the Camaro will make it that far?

 

no, there will just be no 2012 SS/Z28 model...

and there was nothing wrong with the 30ths, 20s i have no issues with either.

 

However, there will be one, eh?
