Memorial service will be Monday, and next Saturday we are having a big cruise in his memory. Details to follow. His mother made us promise not to have a somber get together, but one that celebrates his personality and life.

RIP Shawn. Love you buddy.

For those wanting to participate in this, please be patient. It is expected this even is going to bring quite a few people. Trying to get a venue to hold us all as well as a track to race are still being worked out. I guarantee as soon as all this can be done there will be an announcement with times and places.

Wow. This is terrible news. RIP.

I met up with Shawn in Dallas one day to pick up/drop off a part. He was a cool guy. Very sad to hear this.

man, crummy deal.

I met him a few times and he was cool as hell.

He was a super nice guy and it sucks to have this happen to him when.

RIP

I've been debating whether to go to this or spending the day with my family putting up the Christmas tree. I have decided to spend the time with my family. Yesterday I found out that over the past 4 months, my Mom's cancer hasn't grown enough to need any chemo treatments, so she gets another 2 months before she goes back for scans. Plus, both my sisters are in town and other than a very busy Thanksgiving Day, I haven't spent that much time with everybody in a while. I don't think anybody would argue with my decision.

I hope everybody that is able to go has a good time and stays safe. Well, as safe as drag racing can be

There were at least 200 people for his service. We had a huge caravan that ended up at North Star Dragway. It was a fantastic service and all post events were very nice as well. I spent the entire weekend bawling, but it was needed.
Shawn will always have a space reserved in my garage.
