3.4L Drive-shaft Center Support Bearing.
Hi guys,
I'm in a predicament and I live in Europe.
My car is a 1995 3.4L V6 with 5spd manual trans. (its not any type of Euro model, it was imported here to Estonia in 2006 from florida)
The center support bearing went out in the drive shaft, and I need to replace this drive-shaft. The funny thing is I cannot get this 2 piece drive shaft here in Estonia without ordering one from the states, and we know that costs LOTS including shipping.
I have read lots about upgrading to a 1 piece (either ordering it, or having it customer made). I can order it, but that is very expensive on shipping, although an aluminum shaft would be cheaper because of weight.
Some of you have also said that you can pull a 1 piece out of an LT1 or LS1 and "DIRECTLY" replace the 2 piece DS.
There are some V8 camaros available here in Estonia (Estonians love American cars) and I have direct access to these parts, but I do not know (exactly) which cars are a direct replacement, OR if that is not an entirely true statement.
I figure it is cheapest to buy locally here off a junker, but I am uncertain if I do pull one off, IF it will truly fit as said in these forums.
What cars will directly bolt in to my 3.4L V6 with 5spd transmission, and are there any catches to being able to make one fit?
What other things will I need to consider.
Please Help!
Thanks!

Re: 3.4L Drive-shaft Center Support Bearing.
I hope someone has answered this somewhere for you by now or that you found another post to help, but if not --- 83-02 Camaro and Firebird 1 piece shaft is a direct swap, just remove the carrier bracket on your torque arm. Thats it. 82 had more options transmission wise so avoid that year. Doesnt matter if it comes from a V6 or V8 auto or standard. Hope you have it goin by now but if not, I hope this helps.
