The following was not at a track, but on an desolate road**

So this was Sunday and I went to the gas station for Marlboro Black cause they're waaaay cheaper, and as Im coming out my buddy pulls up. He's got a '09 Mustang GT. We always **** talk back and forth( as 'Maro and mustang owners are want to do) and he says we'll lets put it to rest and race. He's only got the exhaust done, like me, but it's I dont know mustang specs so I'm pretty sure its a more powerful car. So Im like "F*** it pick the place. So we go out to this really desolate road( no house or anything, its like 1/2 of road before the next light and a straight shot). So we line up and I'm thinking Im gonna get my doors blown off. The light turn green, we launch and its on. He's already got me by like 3/4s of a length but then all of a sudden I see his car lurch a bit, and then Im rocketing past him. All I see is tail lights. By the time I finish he's like a length 1/2 behind me. So we get out and he's cursing so much a sailor would blush and he says he f***** up his shift in to 3rd AND 4th. I just laughed and him and he was like, let's race again. But I know not to chance it and saw next time. So I am glad to finally have my 'Maro be a legit Pony Killer. And for the naysayers out there, a win by driver error is still a win.
