95 Z28 VS Dodge Ram Hemi
I just bought my car last wensday and have been doing preventive maintainence on it all week. But last night i met a guy with a new Ram Truck with the words Hemi on the side!
So we decided to go at a 30 roll...it was dead even until i hit around 70 then i started to pull on him when he gave up!
Enjoy!..Sorry for the quality.

I think the Hemi trucks are pretty impressive and off the line they are pretty quick. For a stock A4 to pull on one like that im very happy with our cars. Hopefully ill be done with the mods in my sig and hoping for 280 rwhp trying to keep up with some of these faster cars now a days.

I hope it was a single cab. I love my Ram but it barely eeked out of the 16's and that's after a programmer and intake. At 6000 lbs, the quad cab 4x4 is out of its league vs any sports car. It's still quick enough from 30-70 to surprise cars like a Maxima, BMW 3 series, or an RX8.
On the other hand, it's very common to see 14.50s from the single cab Hemi trucks. A close second would be an 08 4.7 liter regular cab with the 6spd manual. It's rated at 320hp for 2008 only.
There are regular cab Hemi's on the spray, some with forced induction as well, that really do well at the track. It's tempting but I need one reliable vehicle to drive while my "tinkering" car sits waiting on parts. I'll try a meaner torque converter soon and maybe a cam later on, but nothing crazy.
It'll be interesting to see the results from the new 2009 models. 390hp/407 tq has a nice ring to it.
