Anyone running a "W" or "S" tire?

Looking for opinions on them. I was told that the W is a little wild on the top end, but I worry about the S not getting enough bite.

Any thoughs/comments?

Thanks

I run the 10.5 "W" and I don't seem to feel any big problems with it. I've only had it up to 138 mph so maybe it'll start moving at a higher speed. Now I've also run them with my stock radials up front, now that is SCARY!!!!! I've taken my foot out of it a few times. The investment into skinnies is definately worth it.

Thanks Roman. Only 138? Bah, that isn't trying!

What kind of hammer work did you have to do for your Ws? I've already got the fenders cleared for an 11" tire. Anything else? I've already got the skinnies, just looking for a rear for the track.

I had to do some work.

I had to do some trimming to the rear bumper then the front of the fender lip close to the bottom. Then I had to move the wheelwell so much that I just ground slits in the well and then pounded them into position and when it all cleared I filled it back up.

Keep in mind I also run a 10" wheel with 7.5 b/s.

Good, i've already done that for the Bogarts I'm running. I already cut the urethane bumper and went to town on the wheelwell. I'm folding the fender lip this weekend.

Thanks for the info. At least I have an alternative if I start blowing the regular 10.5s away.
