Anyone running the ZEX N20 Kits

Does anyone have any cooments on the ZEX brand N20 systems. They look to be a little easier install but how do they perform in the real world?

I know a lot of people are running the NX kits. It is a good kit, but I would like to know if anyone has heard or had any experience with the ZEX kit.It looks a lot easier to install and you could hide it better if you want to keep it on the down low since it doesnt have all of those noids. But I wonder how the little brain box that controls it holds its own.

never had experience with them. However, i don't like the idea of having the 02 sensors control the nitrous and fuel mix, if the sensor fouls up then your screwed. IMO, the NX is better because u can wire it up all yourself how YOU like it, and put whatever safety stuff u want additionally. If your sprayin only 100 shots, i would say the ZEX is fine, but anything more I'd go with a tried and true setup like NX.................

I see what you are saying. The kit only goes from 75-100-125 shot and I doubt i will go over 100shot anyway . I just need a little extra pep for now. I was thinking of going with the Zex kit with the purge kit and bottle warmer and maybe gettin a remot bottle warmer and putting the bottle in the spare tire compartment and I could hide it better without all those solinoids and lines on top of the intake.

I have it and love it. It was pretty easy to install. I did everything at once(custom purge, remote opener, heater, basic kit, window switch, n2o/fuel pressure gauges in dash) sooo, it took me a little longer than a few hours. It took about 3 days to have everything perfect. Main problem was the inline fuel pump leaked. I had to rig thin rubber hose to fit within the fule line hose to stop the leak. and thier supplied vaccum hose line is too short. I had to go buy and additional 6-7feet. It does not work off of your O2 sensors. It works off your TPS sensor. One easy splice tap into one wire on the tps sensor. Mine has worked perfectly since day one. I have used all size jet...and prefer the 125. I took my car to a speed shop to dyno test the n2o and without tuning. Due to the expensiveness I was only able to test on jet because I got a baseline, NA run and a N2o run for $144 Anyhow I tested the 100 shot and got 83hp without tuning. I just put my 125shot in assuming it was about 100 real hp. I have not tuned it and ran 125 all last summer. It was great.
I just ordered LT 1 edit 2 days ago. I hope to be able to custom tune the car myself for this summer. Maybe I can actually get 100hp out of 100 shot. Anyhow, I think it an AWESOME kit. Have fun if you get it.

Thanks for the info. That makes me feel a bit better. Are you running a wet or dry setup?
