Detroitboy just went 3400!!!!!

Dealer just called....I'm still geeked. I've been scared about the IOM with orange interior and figured I'd get a chance to see one before my order got pulled.....but NOOOOOOOO!!!!!
So, there will be a new IOM SS/RS Camaro on the east side streets with orange accent interior and polished wheels. Just in time for the cruising to start on Gratiot too!!!

As long as you never put an orange scented air freshener in it, you'll be all right....

if i ordered that, i would always have a bag of oranges and give one to my passangers. not making fun of the color i love the orange, and i really love the orange interior. i think it would look bad *** in the black i ordered.

I'm the same way, since they're not offering the red accent. I don't really like the orange interior on the silver car, but I think it should look really good on black. I just want to see it first.

Sorry about the hijack, congrats.

No, I was so excited I forgot to ask. She said she will be talking to me soon with the details.
Its not that I like oranges....cause I'm actually gonna call it my "flying tomato". Maybe I'll get some plastic/foam tomatos to throw at people. From what I've seen in the pics it looks more like tomato redish orange.

I would've been all over a metallic ralleye green like in 68! Red Jewel tintcoat was tempting too...but I'm sick of the GM blue interior lighting, and being that the 2SS comes with ABL it did'nt leave me a whole lot of choice. My truck is silver, and I've done the black thing...won't do that again! So....IOM it had to be!

No sweat....and that orange interior with black is going to be one kickbutt combination! I have no shady place to wash a black car, and it turns all goofy when I wash one in the sun. In fact I was rinsing my last black car in the drive....turned on the hose for final rinse and a big crack went all across the windshield as soon as the water hit it. And it was two hours after I got a deposit on it! That was a pain to fix before he picked it up the next morning.....

Congrats on the move up on the order status. Mine should be moving anyay now! I hear you about black, my '98 Camaro SS was black, real pain in the rear to keep clean and my current '06 Equinox is black. Black does look awesome when it is clean though!
