Background Shades of "Gray"...

A lot of other boards that I participate in don't have the dark gray background that I find impossible to read against the black typed text. I have to highlight (left cursor held and passed over text) to read. I don't know if anyone has this problem, but this is the only board that has such a dark gray background. I know my monitor is aging, but there is not a problem anywhere else that I have experienced. Thanks for listening...
(Maybe I can put this in the lounge and take a poll. I wonder if it's only my monitor that has this contrast difficulty...also, no adjustment will help. Thanks again.).

i had the same problem....it is the resolution seting of your monitor
currently it is probly at 600x800
go into your display settings and change your resolution to 1024x768
this helped me but the video card that i had would not give me better resolution (1024x768) so i got a new card

Yep...this is an issue, and it will be fixed in the future. Try to bear with it for now.
