im supposed to be going with a couple of friends the weekend of the 18-19(Jan) to the fayetteville dragstrip. if anyone is going or considering going, please repsond and maybe we can hook up.

I didn't think the track was open in January. I might be in town that week to visit my family. How much is it to race and are those Thu & Fri or Fri & Sat? Might have to meet up.

 

i didnt think they were open either but two friends of mine just went down this past weekend and picked up a schedule. its the 18 and 19 which is actually a Sat/Sun race weekend. we'll prolly drive down early Sat morning and spend the night Sat and run again Sun. if its like it was last weekend, my buddy told me it was 8 bucks to run "run tuff" or street car trophy class. hes thinking it will be the same but we'll prolly call to make sure. i wouldnt think it be any more than maybe 12-15 dollars AT MOST.

Does anyone have directions to the Fayetteville track? I'm from southern VA. I just helped my buddies finish up their winter rebuilds and looking for new times and no tracks are open. Thanks!

 

I believe it is right off of I-95. Can't remember which exit but you can see it at night. Sorry I couldn't be more specific. They have a website you can get directions off of. Just search on google.

 

Guys, you might want to call the track. I am 95% sure the track is closed this coming weekend, due to an organized race. Test and Tune happens on Sundays, so seeing one of you post that the track is open Saturday and Sunday makes me that much more sure that it will be closed ( no test and tune).

Thats what I was worried about. I talked to my cousin in Fayetteville and he thought the track was closed.

 

Yup, I just called over there, 2 day bracket race on Sat. and Sun.

 

Sorry to break your plans guys, but at least you didnt take a wasted trip.

 

No problem. Getting the exhaust installed Friday anyway and would of had a long drive Friday night. Let's try and set something up in the near future.
