Question Help me get creative w/ a video 'line in' on my cd player

I just posted this up in the lounge but I wanted to get your guys opinions as well!
I got this new dvd/tv/cd player for my jeep...old one didn't work. It has AUX inputs on the back (white red and yellow). When I hook up the ipod to the white and red composite cables, the sound works, but the image says: NO SIGNAL. This feature is really meant to be used as a way to hook up an external dvd player...but I don't know why you'd do that because there is one built in!?

What is something I can hook up that would show images, but be hooked up into a composite yellow cable?

I was thinking get one of those reverse cameras and just install the camera's line in as that. Every time you'd hook up the AUX, you'd see what was going on behind you.
Anyone have any ideas?

There is a front usb connection that I'd like to use, but every time I plug into that, my ipod trys to sync w/ the cd player so I can't make it do anything.

Someone has to have a better idea than this!
