Interior Dimensions

I know... too early for details but I would really really like for some thought to be put in for the more vertically enhanced Camaro drivers. My 69 required some seat modification... the 78 and 87 were both rather short on head room and leg room. I am 6'7" tall and know that it will be a tight fit in my new 2010 Camaro but would hope that with the increasing height of the general population that car manufacturers will figure out some way to fit us taller folks. Even if the car is not comfortable when I go for my first test drive, I will buy it and I will modify it. Any thoughts???

Thank you

I'm 6'4" tall, and when I drove the silver Camaro concept at the Milford proving ground it was very comfortable for me.

Thumbs up

Thanks for sharing Chris... interior space has limited me on many car selections... sun roofs are a killer. The new Camaro is going to be one of those cars that I will buy even if I don't fit well (ignore this statement GM so you build the Camaro to fit me ) and will modify accordingly. I would love to be able jump in and drive... worried about head room and the gas leg against the console... those tend to be the tight spots. I tended to slouch in my 69 and fold up the legs to fit...

Thanks,
Roger

Wasn't the seat in the concept sitting up quite a bit higher than a production seat would?

So, not only will the seats be set a little lower, the roof will be slightly higher...

Sounds like the production 5th Gen should accomodate a wide range of heights.
