ZR1 Replica's

I'm looking to order some ZR1 replica's. 17 x 9.5 for the front, 17 x 11 for the rear. Does anyone see any potential problems on doing this for a 1993 Z28? Will this look goofy? Will I have to do any additional work "suspension, spacers, etc" beyond just bolting them on? Any other suggestions?

This will be for my parents newly acquired 1993, they have a 68 that looks pretty nice and clean and they would like to redo the 1993 with the same appearance.

Thanks!

P.S. They were told to go with black rims. yuck! If you have black rims, sorry, they look great

PLEASE..... PLEASE..... PLEASE..... read the FAQ "stickied" at the top of the "Wheels and Tires" forum topics page. About 1/2-way down on page 1 there is a very detailed writeup on putting the ZR1 replicas on an LT1 4th Gen, including recommended wheel backspacing, and possible modification requirements.

Thank you, that helped out tremendously.

Now, what if I just went with the 17 x 9.5 all around? This car won't have any engine mods except for a CAI and Exhaust, so traction won't be an issue. What other options do you think would fit this car? BTW, we are getting the paint re-done on it so we would really like for the wheels (not chrome) to look good "Obviously.

Can you purchase any ZR1 replica's without having to dremmel the inside for the difference on a 93?

Do you know of any places where I can find a good deal on ZR1 Replica's?

Thanks!
