Auto - M6 program

Is there anyway to get a stock program for a4 - T-56 conversion without buying software? I have AKM cables but no software.

The dealer can do it for you, I dont know how much they'll charge for it but I know they can. Othen then taking your pcm to have it done, you need to get the software.

You can use winflash from tunercat. http://www.tunercat.com/tnr_desc/do_tc.html

I sent a stock M6 tune to your email address. I think winflash is free for the first 30 days and then is $20.

are tunes like LT1 edit, tunercat, and others-like HHp3 where they get locked. Can I run this stock tune through tunercat then purchase lt1edit later and it will be compatable?

Tunercat is not vin locked at all.

LT1 Edit will let you load any tune, no matter what VIN#, but you can only adjust a tune that came from your PCM. The way to get around this is to load any tune you want. Then, when you read the tune off of your PCM, the VIN number from your PCM goes onto that tune. Then you can adjust the tune.

There is a program called tunreconvert.exe that lets you convert back and forth from a tunercat(*.bin) and a LT1Edit(*.LT1) tune.
