Imagine it's January 2009...
...on a Saturday afternoon, and you're at home with a little free time.
You step out the door to grab the mail, and bring it inside.
Going through the stack of mail, you toss aside everything else when you spot your favorite car magazine.
You decide to head to your favorite reading spot.
Grabbing a refreshing cold beverage on the way, you plan to relax while browsing the magazine pages.
Approaching your favorite spot, you set your drink down on a coaster on the small table next to your seat.
Upon sitting down, you glance at the cover of the magazine, and open it up.
Inside the front cover, you see this:

Even though it's a familiar image, you can't help but stare at it for several minutes straight.
Thinking about how one will soon be in your possession, you're once again filled with the feelings of desire, passion, and anticipation.
You toss the magazine on the table and smile, because the rest of the automotive industry doesn't matter right now...
...because your beloved Camaro is back!

I cannot wait until the day I can go down to the dealership and pick mine up. It will be my first NEW car, despite the fact when I bought my 97 from my father it only had 25k kms on it. As soon as I find out the MSRP and Wood Wheaton Chevrolet is taking orders on the Z28 whether it be 2nd year or not, I'm going to be there with cash in hand.

I've never owned a Camaro with less than 42,000 miles on it, so I'd be excited just to have one with only 1 or 2 miles from transport. I've bought enough cars to now hate the buying experience. The GTI was easiest. All of my dealer interactions buying Camaros have been awful. It's probably easier when you pay MSRP, and I'm sure that will be the case for the first year.
I like the ad... I am still torn if I want to get a new one yet. I like my 3rd gen, yet I am oddly drawn to the the 5th...
I got my 3rd gen with 152K on it, and although now the motor is new, the rest of the car has over 200K...
Sure would be nice to drive a camaro that doesnt squeek and rattle...
