Like the title says, do I need both? Can I get away with just the motor?

 

Just the motor in my case, got slow then finally just quit.

 

It depends on what your problem really is. No way to know with what has been posted so far.

 

Well, I press the up switch and nothing happens. It slowly died out.

 

I have a 1981 Camaro that has a V6 engine that I want to replace. I recently purchased a LT1 engine out of a 1995 Camaro can some give me details on what I need to do to make this work: Will I need a need cross memeber and mounts; Will transmission work; what type of radiator will I need, etc.....

 

Sounds like you're just in need of a new motor. Time to go to Advance.
