Widing a stock rim
I have a buddy thats got a 01 Mustang gt. Wants to keep the same rims I know there is a way to make the rims wider by adding more rim anybody know who does this or how much it costs I have seen it done to SS wheels before...Thanx

There is a place we used to widen rims. They cut off the inside of the rim (just past the bead), and weld on a wider inside section. IIRC, they charged around $200/wheel. Do a 'net search for BJ Hansen. It is his blown '95 Firebird that had the rims widened. I hope this helps!
