good deal - wasnt sure- figured the board would know as they know all.

sidenote- curious about opinions-

I drive maybe 15 miles a day so not really worried about treadwear/longevity, but plan on doing some aggressive autocross every couple weeks. planning on running 315 NT01's in the rear and 275 NT01's in the front. figure its either gonna kick *** or kick me in the ***.

Well, as far as I've read/heard, they're supposed to be like the 555R2's, but better! I'm sure they'll be one helluva street/track tire (with the exception, of course, of long life and performance in deep water ).

one other question-

275x40 17
315x30 18

anyone think thats gonna look odd with the sidewall differences? unfortunately choices are pretty limited in this tire

The only thing is that the NT-01 is an R compound tire with no tread wear rating where as the 555R2 has a 100 TWR.

I'd expect the autox will eat the tires faster than the 15 miles/day.
