Need a Good Welder/ Machine Shop (OC area)

I am looking for a machinge shop or someone who can weld and is reputable. I have no clue where to go to for this.

I have a brand new 383 lt1 motor (iron) but there is a crack on the number 2 cylinder so it just leaks coolant. I would like to have the car towed to the shop so that the motor can just be dropped and have the weld done from underneath. Since everything is already in and hooked up, it would be a bitch to have to remove and reinstall so if this is not possible, please let me know.

There is no way to weld cast iron except when it is bare and preheated in an oven.
You are screwed. At least with that block.

That's not what I'm hearing from people, it sounds like there is def. a fix for the situation. Sh**ty thing is, I got to pull the whole thing out again, just to give the shops an idea of what the crack looks like.
