Anyone have this VFN cowl hood?
I cant say anything about that hood directly, but VFN is a great comapny to work with. I have one of their hoods on my 97 and it is awesome.
They were pretty cheap considering what I was looking for and it fit pretty well. Not 100% like stock fitment, but given it was fiberglass I think is pretty darn close.
I would give a call over there and let them know what you are looking for. chances are there are pictures of other cars that they have put their hoods on. I know customers send picturesto their office all the time.

Personally, that hood has two major flaws. The corners of the scoop are too sharp, and they kept the stock "louvres" instead of a smooth hood. I'd get the VFN Sunoco Style" Bolt On Hood if I were you.

The lines where the fake "louvers" would be add character to the hood instead of it just being a flat piece. The scoop how it goes over the wiper area looks damn cool to me too

The scoops make it look "mean"

I personally like the "vents" in my hood...I think they compliment my 30TH anniversary style stripes.
BTW, Brent did the custom "COWL INDUCTION" decals for my hood. scroll through the pictures in the post above to check them out.

The "vents" add character in my book. It is the first thing that catches your eye once the hood is painted with the little sparkle off the curves.

Sorry about the lighting!
