How much horsepower with stock fuel pump?
I looked around and didn't really find what I was looking for.
I have a 355 LT1 with the mods in my sig, the kooks long tubes are not installed yet. I am waiting until I get new heads and will do them together. So with a 355 LT1 with a CC503 cam, longtubes, AFR 195 LT4 heads should I be thinking about my fuel pump? I am thinking I will have to replace it, pump has 120k on it. Also I was planning on going with 30lb injectors, 30 or 36?
Does about 370-390 RWHP sound about right for this combo? Thanks guys

Ok, so should I should get a fuel pump right away or can I wait for a little while?

I ran my stock injectors and fuel pump at the 390rwhp level without a lean air/fuel issue. They will support that kind of power, it's just not the proper way to do it.
I changed out the stock injectors for a set of Racetronix 42lb injectors, and went with their fuel pump setup at the same time. Now the car makes a hair over 400rwhp, and idles smoother than the stock setup ever did... but that probably had to do with the retune.
Do yourself a favor and change out that pump, it's getting up there on miles so it's on borrowed time... plus the peace of mind.
If your looking at SVO injectors, they are flow rated at a lower psi than we run, so they act a few lb's higher on our cars.
30lb SVO's are fine for your expected power levels, but if you see more power in your future step up to the 36's...
Personally, I like the Racetronix injectors!
