whick aftermarket cat to get?
I am weighing out either a magnaflow or catco cat. I am a little nervous about the fact that there is an AIR tube on this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Catco...QQcmdZViewItem
would this affect my CA nazi smog?

The AIR system on your car injects air into the exhaust manifolds. Therefore, an AIR tube on the cat itself is not needed. The Magnaflow cats seem to have a bit better reputation then the Catco ones.

well, I purchased a magnaflow cat off ebay. I hollowed mine out and when smog comes around I will get that cat in there. I know when I emptied mine out (it was a complete disaster) I def. got some power back! no more sound of rocks in my exhaust!

The AIR tube is capped on that from the factory. No problem in that regard.
