i dont have deaders, no point to get hi-flows now. i will do that when i get headers. i was just speaking in terms of stock. i had a faulty one cause it was breaking apart and they fixed it under warrenty. but it feels a bit peppier and i just wanted to know if it was me, or if the bad cat was slowing the car down.

From what i have heard, bad cats can cause lots of problems. Such as cars not shifting right, accelerating extremly slowly, only reving to a certain point, and huge power losses. Wether or not this is to the point yours were, i dont know. If yours was blowing out, it may have been similar to a gutted cat, which could have slightly increased power. Who knows.
