yeah, those have been posted before and those are the bodies they did for Transformers. i'm glad they got involved to make the Camaro happen for the movie, but to be honest, i ain't crazy about them getting involved past that. if they start working on Camaros and Mustangs, neither manufacturer's secrets are safe...

 

technically, that's not a Camaro... it's a movie prop, using molds of the concept car body panels, put on a GTO chassis.. and i believe Fbodfather said there were two of them built.

Yes, that particular car is built by Saleen and it is a Camaro (although not technically) but it's not the Saleen tuned production Camaro that he's talking about building. That's just a movie car, the Saleen tuned Camaro that we can all buy has yet to be seen, or even built for that matter.

 

Its got a pretty sweet paintjob nonetheless.

there will be mules being tested that technically wont be 09 camaros. I have seen most of those but there is one in there I hadnt seen before and maybe all of them that some people never seen. Im sure Gripenfelter knew what the cars were. Sometimes I think we go too far just trying to show off what we know and it takes some of the fun away...

and that IS a sweet 69 paint job! and I like that car more than the concept because the headlights give it more of a 69 feel.

Which is not a bad thing IMO.

I think Steve Saleen forgot to mention that his Camro will have 485 hp but also turn into a robot that can fight and talk, it might even buy your groceries too. The word from Mallett and Lingenfelter is they are still working on the engine!
