which fuel injectors??

looking at racetronix fuel injectors to replace my very old stock ones...but what is the stock lb/hr #, and what would be any losses or gains from getting a higher lb/hr # injector???

24# is stock. There are no gains in getting bigger injectors if you don't need them.

with your current mods, they are a waste of money like myshibby said. unless you have an issue with your current ones or if/when you go bigger cubes, h/c, f.i, then bigger injectors are usually a must.

Re: which fuel injectors??

only reason i was asking is bc i have a problem with my car and fuel injectors were one of the solutions i was leaning towards, but i think my problem may be more related to o2 sensors bc it seems as tho i have a bad a/f ratio...my car runs fine cold/started in the morning (closed loop), but once it warms up a lil and goes into open loop it runs a lil shakey and when i really get on it u can feel the engine stumble for a couple seconds and then it will go (stumbles around 2500 to 4000 rpms) and then smooths out...so it seems to me my a/f ratio is bad and from what i have read, o2 sensors are a contributing factor in that...and im just trying to figure out my problem..

Re: which fuel injectors??

It's the other way around, it goes in to closed loop once it warms up, open loop for the first couple minutes.

Have you replaced the o2 sensors? I would replace those before I replaced the injectors.

Re: which fuel injectors??

sorry youre right...i mixed the open/closed loop operations..lol...but no i havent replaced the o2 sensors...do u think getting my pcm tuned (like at madz28) would help the cause any..by straightening out the air/fuel ratio, or deleting the rear o2's???...also, if i do decide to replace the o2's...how hard is it to do that?
