93 A4 transmission question?

I am parting out a 93 A4 car. I have someone interested in the transmission for a hot rod project he is working.

What would it take to make this transmission work in a non-fbody? Mostly thinking about any necessary wiring....etc. ?

He wants to mate this to a traditional SBC in a '39 Chevy.

I haven't done it so this is just a guess of things that he may need .
Off the top of my head I can't think of any reason the tailshaft with torque arm mount would be a problem. Fitting a standard speedometer drive assembly into the tail housing may require something but I don't know exactly what. The speedo drive gear should mount on the output shaft.
He'll need a carb equipped with the grooved cable bracket for running a 700r4 specific TV cable and the bracket that holds the cable housing too.
A manual TCC apply switch or controller for the TC clutch solenoid circuit.
That's all I can think of at the moment.

According to this page on Crosley's website, it looks like the mechanical speedo drive gears and related parts should fit a 4l60 / 700r4 tailhousing with an original electronic VSS.

Thanks guys... So it definitely sounds useable and probably not all that difficult.
