Activation RPM w/3400 stall?
Activation RPM w/3400 stall?
My 96 Z28 currently has a stock torque converter, and I have the nitrous set to come on at 2600 RPM's via the MSD digital window switch. I'm buying a 3400 stall this week, and I need to know if I should adjust the RPM's at which the nitrous is activated.
Re: Activation RPM w/3400 stall?
I am running a 3200 stall and have my window switch set to start spraying at 3800 just so my car can get out of the hole and not give my stock 10 bolt too much of a shock off the line,
so yes I think it would be wise to raise the window switch setting to a little above your flash stall speed.

Re: Activation RPM w/3400 stall?
When I had my old 3,600 stall I just flashed the converter and the hit nitrous off the line. Basicly using the stall as a window switch. Haven't tried the new 4,200 yet.
