Hello all. I just got back from Korea and I've got a question about cracks I'm starting to see on my tires. They're Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s and I've had them for almost 3 years. There are just miniature cracks that are near where the tread meets the wall. The tread is still good since it hasn't been driven much, but the cracking is there.

My question, is how bad is it? Should I worry about it? Should I get new tires? I've been looking around at other cars that I see from day to day and I see it a lot actually. Let me know if you have any info on this.

the tires are probably just old. i would take them to get them checked out.

 

sounds like age/weather cracking to me
