Thumbs up Richard Petty Drivng Experience

Just thought I'd offer this info to the board.

I went to Michigan International Speedway and did a Richard Petty driving coarse on sunday. It was the last day of the year for them. Which included a short class, 8 laps in a stock car (with me driving) and a printout of speeds of each lap. It costs about $390.00 and worth every dollar and more.

My top recorded speed was 145.29mph. But on my last strech, my pace car opened up and I easily did an additional 20-30 mph.

I was a blast and would recommend it to all who desire speed.
I now have a new appreciation for NASCAR. It was tougher than it looks.

Thumbs up

I would like to do it next time they are here. If someone is going let me know and I will go with. We should get a group and go sometime. Someone should set it up as a group purchase . I am sure there are others who would go. I tried setting it up on Motown Muscle board but they said it was to much. But it was a different driving school and double the money.

If $390 is a little out of your budget, you can go as a ride along (passenger) for $99.00. That includes 3 laps as a passenger with speeds averaging at 175mph. Even that would be sweet.

You could definitely see the difference going by you, who was doing a ride along. They were flying.

Seeing that the season is over, if you're interested just call MIS in the spring/summer and inquire.

I have a few pics, but I don't know how to get them in here. Daaaahhh
