Used Koni SA/DA shocks

im thinking about buying some front SA and rear DA shocks from a friend of mine, only problem is they have about 40 thousand miles on them, how much quality do you guys think they have lost in that amount of time? He has used them on stock springs and as a DDer PNs are 8241-1139 front and 8242-1006SP1 rear

Well pay as little as you can for htem, maybe even phone and see how much to rebiuld them.
and then look at new replacement cost.

I cant give you a price.

Re: Used Koni SA/DA shocks

They are adjustable, so some wear can be compensated for by increasing the settings.

If they are not leaking, I would say run them.

Koni says that they will outlast the car you put them on.

If they have not been used with huge springs stiffer than 600 lb/in they may have lots of life in them.

The rear are easy to change. The fronts much harder, rebuilding the fronts and taking a chance on the rear would be a compromise with little wasted effort.

Good Luck

Re: Used Koni SA/DA shocks

40 thousand miles really isnt that much though, even for stock shocks on a car, and theses are ultra high end.
