275-35-18 ___ best bang for buck tire

well, my nittos are shot on my rear to the point where they are completely smooth with no tread... i was planning on picking up a set of the BF goodrich drag radials but not sure if i can scrape together enough money in time

(college art student, only making 100$ a week)

im looking for a tire 275-35-18 which will have decent treadwear (at least through this summer and will give me traction for a few drag strip runs. so far every tire im liking is running at least 200 a pop. so whats ur opinions and any cheaper you reccomend with good traction for track?

or should i bite bullet and stop buying alchohol and get a good set of drag radials?

Kumho Ecsta 712s are probably your best bet. Not a bad tire for the price.
