Where do I buy a performance T-56?
Anybody know where i could buy a t-56 transmission? I have one in my camaro but want to upgrade without switching to a different type of trans. ... I want a beefed up stronger tansmission...something for high performance. Who makes one?

Basically a beefed up T56 with carbon fiber blocker rings, steel 3-4 shift fork and a Viper, (Larger Diameter), output shaft. Good for something like 650Ft-lbs of torque if I remember correctly.

I'd suggest G-Force at http://www.g-forcetransmissions.com/tran_gt-56.asp for a beefed up T56. However, the stock unit is pretty strong. Mind had no trouble coping with with a blower+nitrous in a 3,850lb car with a Street Twin and 10" slicks.
