O and ive heard Lowering the tire PSI at the track will help out...?? is this 2rue?

 

I'm thinking closer to 16 sec.

Lower tire pressures will work with drag or street slicks, but not with normal street tires because the sidewalls are too stiff.

EDIT: Also, the rubber they use for slicks is different than that of street tires.

im gonna say 15.3-15.7 only because i ran my factory '84 LG4 (150 hp 240 tq) car w/ nothing but flowmaster catback and ran 16.1@83.6mph. this run was done nov. 2003 in perfect track/weather conditions. i even did a burnout w/ the 2.73 open diff... lol... anyway, i had owned the car almost 2 years myself and never replaced ANYTHING but oil.... could've been running on 7 cyl. who knows?!!... go for it man!!

if you can plumb some raim air for that dual snorkel i'd do it... check out a local HVAC center for some tubing... or to get ideas www.ramairbox.com

 

Well the L69 pushed the monte carloSS down the strip at a 15.7 so im guessing a 15.5-15.7

 

you should be able to get mid to low 15's.....i got a 92 rs 305 tbi auto....all i got done is full exhaust...open element air cleaner...junk jet stage 2 chip....throttle body spacer...and 3.73 gears and i hit 14.8....and that was with my timing retarded 12 degrees cuz my friend messed it up....so thats not to bad for a lo3 305

 

Id like 2 break 14's then i would sh$t my pants.......
