Getting Wax off of plastic panels

Hey all, Ive got a 95 Blazer and was wondering how yall go about getting excess wax that gets on to the plastic panels that run the side of the car. Any methods would be helpful. Thanks.

If you are looking to get extra wax off after waxing, use a clean towel. If there is wax left after you wash your car, use regular dish soap next time you wash or a claybar. Make sure to follow up with a clear coat after the dish soap, though.

There are also dedicated trim cleaners, such as: http://www.topoftheline.com/trim-cleaner.html

I heard of Skippy's Peanut Butter as doing the trick. As taken from Guru's Test Publication, however.....

I believe several other manufacturers make black restorer or wax removal products, like Meguiars.

Good luck.

Peanut butter is only a mask, due to the high oil content.

You could try CRC Brake cleaner as an optioin. Its pretty strong but I used it to clean all my Lt grey panels before I painted them which im doing as we speak.
