what's a '96 ss worth?
I need some advice, guys. I'm looking at a '98 SS w/417 rwhp (about 480 flywheel hp, right?). This guy said he'd let it go for $14k. It's freakin' fast. He paid $14k for it, then put about 8 grand into the motor, clutch, rear, etc. I've got a completely stock '96 SS w/60k miles, in damn near mint condition. My question is: how much can I expect to get for my '96? I'm seriously considering snatching up this '98. He needs the money to put down on a house.
