Motown Muscle will be racing at Norwalk on July 30th

The Motown Muscle car club will be rolling down from Michigan to go racing at Norwalk on Friday, July 30th. The good folks from Hardcore Motorsports are our race sponsor for this event. So plan your vacation days or your Doctor's blue flu note for work and come race.

We run the range of F-bodies, Vettes, Grand Prix, Stangs and even a few Vipers and Turbo Buicks. So everyone is invited to come play and help our F-bodies show our Ford guys how to race.

We keep it simple with lots of TNT time, a heads up Quick 16 class and two bracket racing classes for 12.0/12.1 cutoffs. It's not big money but it is big fun and you'll be running at one of the best tracks in the land. This is the place to be if you need some traction to hook up your next PB time. Right Ohio guys????

So if you are in need of some summer time fun and willing to run what your brung, come on out join us. There should be a range of 9-13 second cars to run with and enjoy watching. So there should be something for everyone.

Remember guys, the M event is coming soon. So come get your TNT done.

Here's the link to the race details post on our site. http://motownmuscle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3886

Here's the quick summary for times and costs:

Schedule Info for Friday, July 30th at Norwalk:
9:00 -10:00 AM Gates open and Tech
9:30 - noon for TNT
30 minute lunch break
12:30 PM - 3:30PM for the three classes
30 minutes for awards and cleanup to pack up by 4:00 PM to make room for Norwalk's regular TNT Friday night event for those that need more racing.

Cost Info:
Members Race for $25 (you can renew or join at the track)

Non-Members Race for $35

Spectators Age 16 and over pay $10 for the show and ages 15 and under for get in for free. I believe they still sell the pound of ice-cream for $1 so bring the kids to see some racing.

Let us know if you think you can make it and it will help us fine tune the final class starting times. Norwalk will also run their normal TNT Friday night program after us for those that need that extra bit of racing.
