The tires have to be grabbing for the torque arm to make a difference, so it depends on your current traction.

Re-torque arm
A huge difference, i used to just spin the tires with nitto's off the line now i just installed an adj SLP torque arm and whoa! what a difference, I completely annilated the tires with a ease off the line and flat foot it routine! Damn makes for a nice effortless smoke show! I thought i had problems with traction before! Looks awesome underneath the car though LOL! I heard just the polyurthane mount makes a big difference though!

Thats what I was thinking,
but as far as I know, without some traction they dont help much, so at least DR's

I ran a BMR adjustable Torque arm on my 30th anny SS. The torque arm along with the 275-40-17 Nitto Drag radials I was running made a HUGE difference. I was really able to launch my 6speed powered car. When I end up putting a torque arm on my Trans Am, though, I plan on going with the BMR track pack torque arm this time. Suppose to be even better, since it doesn't mount to the bakc of the tranny.
