The meeting went well, at least IMO.
We had a great turnout and probably could have used about twice the amount of chairs and table space we had... but then again, for a little while everything will be a learning experience.
We did some quick introductions.
We discussed an "official" name.. AZ Fbody Asso.
We also discussed board positions and what each would encompass. Nominations will be at the next meeting.
We discussed the difference between "active members" and "inactive members". (Please try to keep your minds out of the gutter on this one)
We covered dues, and concluded we will decide (or at least try to decide) what they will be following a little research into what a website will cost us.
We talked about a few basic rules and our "official" stance on street racing.
We met some of our sponsors and were informed of what they can do for us.
We had a lovely (if slightly longer than expected ) drive to the Pavilions, where I finally got heat exhaustion... thank god it's a quick freeway hop home
All in all a good time. I finally got to meet a lot of people whom I had only known through screen names.
I'm sure I left a lot out, however I would be willing to bet that you'll be getting an email covering all of it.

I also wish I had made it, that Salt River Tubing took much longer than expected and gave me a sunburn that I wont soon forget. I will definitely make the next one.
