jet chips,hypertech power mojule....which is best
i know there is better stuff, but i dont want to send my computer away but just have sumthin that "plugs and plays", but no the power programmers for 300 big ones, are the jet chips stage 1 and 2, or the hypertech power module ne good, sumthin that will give sum horses or help my spark and ignition but for less then 200, and i can do myself in my drive WITHOUT a laptop! help

Most people will probably tell you that Jet and Hcrap are not worth the money. Some will tell you that they lost power with one or the other pkg. I am one that did lose power with Hcrap.
If you insist on buying something of that nature anyway, check out the for sale section. You can probably find something for around 150$

i had both, hypertech lost power as well,
the jet stage 2 was a very nice gain...i have 95ta

Fact is, that Hcrap actually uses less agressinve fuel and timing setups based on what I've seen comparing files with LT1 Edit. Don't know for certain about Jet, since they piggy back their system on the stock PCM. From what I've heard from others using it, they are no better than Hcrap.
BTW, based on my observations, there is not much that can be gained with the LT1 by PCM tuning. The best guys are getting about 10 HP and then only with a dyno tune using a wb o2 sensor. Anything else seems to be guess work.
Bottom line is that the stock settings are VERY aggressive.

definate sotp feel. car even sounded different, just me you will like the Jet Stage 2, just stay away from hypertech
