Post Whats my timing??

I have an custom LT1 edit program done by my dyno tuner. Can I tell from the program how much timing I have? If so how?

You should find there is a table of spark advance as a function of engine load (MAP) and RPM. Are you using something like LT1_Edit to look at the custom program, or are you looking at a scanner and trying to pick out some of the advance values?

Some data from a dyno session today. We were running a blown 96 camaro at about 40 kPA and it was calling for 33 degrees in the table. Datamaster was consistently showing 22/23 degrees!! Somewhere between the PCM and the engine 10 degrees was unaccounted for. This was at idle. We ran into some KR at WOT that we tuned out.

I have heard of a 3-4 degree discrepancy but 10-11 degrees, come on!

This was with LT1 Edit. Is there a universal constant somewhere that is taking out timing or changing timing values. And this was with the Smart Spark disabled. Car ran over 500 rwhp with normal timing (except for lots of knock and KR reductions of 6-10 degrees, but we saw and kinda expected that).

Which table was calling for 33deg advance at idle? The main table, or the seperate table for timing at idle (o% TPP table)?
