ABS Issue

Curious if anyone can give some in sight to my issue. Just yesterday my ABS inop light came on and my low trac light along with the Brake light flash at me. Under the hood you can hear a noise as if the valve is relay is stuck. Its a constant clicking noise coming from the ABS unit.

I have checked and all my lights are good so that has been ruled out. I have no idea how to check to see if its the main ABS unit or if it the electronics connected to it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mine car did this to me a long time ago...when i installed my slp fan switch. For the longest time it did this and the abs inop light stayed on. Sometimes if i turned off my car.. started it and sat without moving, while it was started it would go off. Then it go to where it would only come on when it rains....and after a while it stopped coming on when it rained and just turned on when i turned on one of my accesories....but now it doesnt come on at all. So , to make a long story short....i took it to a dealer and they couldnt figure out what it was and now it went away.

Its really odd. Souds alot like my issue you had. It just started happening the other day and it did rain really hard but I am dumbfounded as to why the valves are constantly clicking under the hood.

Scan it for codes and then hit the manual for the proper tests. If you don't have a scanner, you can have Autozone scan it.

When i started mine and it was doin this. I heard the clicking and got under the hood and listened. What was making the noise was the abs cicuit breaker/relay in the fuse box. I thought it might be bad so i replaced it but it still did the same thing.

Re: ABS Issue

Yeah someone has to know what is up with this. My car does the same thing after it rains or i wash it. Not all of the time but some of the time. Right now it is on and sometimes it doesn't come on but soon as it starts to move it comes on. The damn abs inop light sucks.
