Unhappy what can I do with this scratch?

I just finished washing my car and i noticed a small scratch right next to the camaro logo on the nose of the car. it seems to have gone right through the paint, but is very short and narrow, certainly no longer than half an inch.

It might have been caused by a flying rock, but I also think maybe a higher sitting truck backed into my car VERY slightly. perhaps he didnt even realize... but i figure someone backing into it would be a much larger scratch.

anyway to get to the point, whats a good way to make it disappear? im sure it got through a layer or two of the paint. please help

i don't know if you want to touch it up or not, i've had my TA for 4 weeks now and i washed it tonight and notice 2 minor scratches on the rear and it's black, got to be careful when drying it i guess. pewter atleast you can't see it from 5 feet away.

Cool

Can you feel it? If you can feel it you'll most likely need professional attention

If you feel brave you can try wet sanding it then buffing the clear back to a shine. However, if you don't know what you are doing here you could cause more damage than good. But, if it bothers you so bad that you'll have the front painted anyway, might as well give it a shot yourself first Personally, I'd try it... but I did own a detailing company for a few years and have a bit of experience with wet sanding

I'll move this over to the Show And Shine section...

Good luck!
