A grand am GT or a Grand Prix GT will both beat a 3.4 Camaro
You're talking high 16, low 17 seconds when you talk about 3.4 Camaros

Not really, the 3.4's that are in tune are low-mid 16 sec cars. After a few mods (simple intake/exhaust) the 3.4 can see mid 15's with a decent driver.A Grand Am is a low-mid 16 sec car also (I think).Anyway, you should never worry if someone can beat you are not.Just race them and find out.It won't kill you to lose I can promise you that.I had a '95 3.4 also and even though I loved that car to death,it was not a speed demon. It wasn't exactly SLOW either, you get my meaning.Good luck with the car.

i beat my friends 01 grand prix off the line consistantly with my 3.4 . I Also killed his car in top speed because he has a speed limiter and my car appears not to have one. However, in the range of 45-85 he owns me.

You need a cat-back and a cold air intake if you don't have those already. That will really help out the 3.4's dead zone at those speeds. The cat-back really woke my old car up!

I got the exhaust, but no intake. So far i just took off the air silencer and cut the air box. I'll get a cold air intake see what happens.
Thanks
