Smile D/S replacement

Just got my new one piece drive shaft in. Im going to put in on myself Friday, any tips?

Shouldn't be too tough, but if you are removing the two-piece, have fun getting at the "top" bolt at the joint. It's kind of a PITA especially if it's badly rusted. Other than that, 15-30 minute job once the car is up and well worth it too. Drive it before and after and you can really tell.

Take the eniter rear axle off with the torque arm and driveshaft. then that top bolt is a cinch to get off.

Well it is if you are already swaoiung the rear axle he is right that top bolt can be a bitch.

mayeb position a wrench in there, some how, get a hydraulic jack under the car, and put a metal bar between the jack and hte wrench, and use the jasck to force the wrench up starting the bolt. Thats what i would try to do, its really hard to get your fingers in there and it takes elbo grease to get the botl off.
